EHT40 Electric Hot Water Tap For Washrooms

The Electric Hot Water Tap, EHT40, is designed especially for washrooms and helps you to get hot water right at your sink without turning on the immersion. In recent independent trials carried out by an Irish electricity supplier our EHT range were found to be 97% more efficient than using a 20 litre water heater.

Traditionally we all either turn on the immersion or the heating system to heat up water however doing this has three fundamental flaws.

1: It takes a long time for the water to heat up (generally about 30/45 minutes for a 55 litre immersion @ 55c) and this can be particularly frustrating especially when you are in a hurry.

2: Very often we turn on the heating system or immersion and heat a full tank of hot water when we only need to use a few litres washing you hands, cleaning your make up after a night out or having a shave. The rest of the heated water is adding unnecessarily to your energy bill.

3: Because the water has a long way to travel from the boiler to the tap a lot of water is often wasted whilst you wait for the hot water to come through to the sink. With water charges on the way we can no longer afford to continue to do this.

The EHT40 is connected to your incoming cold drinking water supply and connected using a fused spur outlet to a 13amp electrical supply. In fact because its the drinking water that is heated you can drink the hot water direct from the EHT40. No more washing your teeth in dirty water that is stored in a tank in the attic.

Orders are generally sent by courier the same day as you purchase or at the latest the day after. We have had occasions this year where taps were on back order due to their popularity.
